Capture the Flag

UNO and NULLify, UNO's computer security club, will be hosting a cybersecurity hacking event on Feburary 2nd at the Scott Conference Center. The competition will last from approximately 9:00AM to 3:00PM, with food and drinks being provided.


The format of the competition will be a Jeopardy-Style Capture the Flag. Students will pick challenges from a board based on category and difficulty. A challenge is considered solved when a formatted text string, called a flag, is retrieved.

∙ All skill levels welcome (Beginner to Advanced).
∙ No age requirement.
∙ Must be a high school student with a faculty sponsor to register a team.
∙ Each school can register two teams with a maximum of 6 people per team.


∙ All students will receive an event T-Shirt and other cool door prizes.
∙ Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
